In June this year we left the flat country and went to Portugal. First, to surf and hike. And we did. But more than just stunning outdoors, the country has a rich industrial heritage.

 

We were impressed by the quality products the local craftmen bring about. Durable, minimalist products that can take a beating.

Small family businesses that spent decades, some even centuries, refining their mastery of making knives, enamel goods and steelwork. We decided to help expand their reach.

Here is our first product line.

flatlands' products are made for outdoor cooking. Food and coffee just taste better in the outdoors and when they're self-made. Besides the pocket knives and enamel mugs, we are building outdoor kitchens out of old metal toolboxes. They will be for sale soon.
